Earl Scruggs: John Hartford - If it wasn’t for Earl Scruggs, you wouldn’t be worried about who invented three-finger banjo. The same can also be said about Monroe and perhaps others, as well. But few will doubt the importance of Earl Scruggs and his fancy banjo.  
International Bluegrass Music Association: IBMA: Working together for high standards of professionalism, a greater appreciation for our music, and the success of the worldwide bluegrass community.  
The Americana Music Association: A professional trade association dedicated to building and promoting the Americana genre and the individuals who participate in our industry.
